1. Who we are

2. Using Goal Time

  1. Goal Time is a free football prediction game. You never pay to play, and there are no paid entries, boosts or extras.
  2. Anyone can play without an account. You must be 13 or over to register an account. Prizes are only for registered players aged 18 or over (see the Competition Terms for each sponsored matchday).
  3. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

3. The game

  1. The full rules are on the How to play page and form part of these terms.
  2. One entry per person per matchday. You can change your picks until picks close, which is shown on each matchday.
  3. Results are based on match data from our data provider. We check results carefully. If the data is wrong, we may correct it and recalculate results, ranks, leaderboards and prizes, including after results are published.
  4. Matches can be postponed, abandoned or changed. We'll handle these as set out in the rules. That can include replacing a team and moving your pick to the replacement.
  5. In exceptional cases (for example a data failure or widespread postponements) we may void a matchday. A voided matchday has no scores, ranks or prizes.

4. Accounts

  1. Give accurate details, including your real date of birth. Keep your login secure.
  2. Only one account per person. Display names and league names must not be offensive, misleading or include personal information. We may change or remove them.
  3. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy.

We may remove entries, results, leaderboard positions or prizes, or suspend accounts, if we reasonably believe someone has:

6. Leaderboards, leagues and sharing

  1. Leaderboards and mini-leagues show your display name and results to other players.
  2. Once picks close, members of your mini-leagues can see your picks for that matchday.
  3. Share links show your score and rank, and your display name unless you turn that off.

7. Sponsors and advertising

  1. Some matchdays are sponsored. Sponsors are independent businesses. We aren't responsible for their websites, products or offers, except as set out in the Competition Terms.
  2. The site shows advertising. We block gambling, alcohol and other age-restricted adverts.

8. Not affiliated

Goal Time is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any football club, league or governing body, including the Premier League, the EFL, the Football Association and the National League. Club names and badges are used only to identify teams and belong to their owners.

9. Our liability

  1. We provide the site "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
  2. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
  3. Otherwise, we're not liable for:
    • indirect or consequential loss
    • loss caused by events outside our reasonable control (including data-provider errors and match changes)
  4. Our total liability to you is limited to [£100].

10. Changes

We may update these terms or the rules. We'll show the date of the latest change. Changes don't apply to a matchday after its picks have closed.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. [If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use your local courts.]
